redfoot youth theatre is a community youth theatre based at Hale School.

We offer young people the opportunity to be involved in drama productions, and workshops throughout the year.

At redfoot we run a variety of theatre based activities with the emphasis always on practical, hands-on experience. Our members can attend workshops in performance, technical theatre, animation, make-up and circus skills.

Our most popular work at redfoot is undoubtedly our busy production schedule. Numerous productions are staged each year. Students are exposed to a wide range of theatrical experience - they can tackle Shakespeare, musical theatre, touring productions or get involved in the madness of a community pantomime. Guest directors are frequent visitors to redfoot, sharing their skills and knowledge with our students and offering still greater theatrical opportunities.

Our members can try their hand at theatre creation by writing, directing, designing and producing their own productions with the supervision and support of our professional production team.

You need no experience to join us - just a willingness to be involved and a commitment to rehearsal and practical work.
