Since graduating from Hale in 2018, Hamish Henriques has not slowed down!
Hamish Henriques (2018) wrapped up a stellar 2019 World Rowing Junior Championships by being crowned World Champion in the Junior Men’s Double Sculls. Rowing Australia reported Hamish and his rowing partner Harrison Fox did not lose a race throughout the regatta held in Tokyo and walked away with a gold medal on the final day.
“We’ve training for the last two years to try and achieve this, so it’s a really special moment,” said Hamish.
Hamish first started rowing at Hale School in 2014. Now coached by West Australian Jamie Hewlett, Hamish's dream is to represent Australia – both at U23 level and then ultimately at the senior level.
