Haleian explores what that means and looks like at Hale School today, with a focus on duty to self, to school, and to God or something greater than yourself.
We also introduce you to Hale's new Deputy Headmaster, Dr Peter Coutis, who replaces Mr David Bean, who retired at the end of 2022 after many years of service. Dr Coutis comes to us from Scotch College, Melbourne after starting his career as a university academic.
Dr Coutis also writes in this edition about both the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in education and also why the ATAR still matters at Hale.
