Medal winning efforts in the recent National Rowing Championships secure two Young Haleians a spot in National Team at the World Rowing Championships.

Young Haleians Gus Laufmann (2018) and Johnson Daubney (2019) have both been selected to represent in Australia in the World Rowing Championships following medal winning efforts in the recent National Rowing Championships held in Tasmania.

Gus won gold in the U23 men’s coxless four while Johnson won silver in the U21 quad scull and bronze in the U21 coxless pair. They also both competed in the Kings Cup race in the open and U23 divisions, where WA came forth in both races. 

The World Championships set for June, will see Gus will represent Australia in the U23 men’s coxless four and Johnson in the U23 men’s coxed four.
