Kim graduated from Hale in 2012 having formed a close group of Hale school mates. He attended UWA from 2013 to 2015, studied commerce - majoring in accounting and business law with his sights set on a professional services career in accounting. In 2016 he began workingat BDO, an accounting firm in Subiaco, and is currently undertaking further study in the Charted Accountants Australia and New Zealand program. Kim spends his spare time with family and friends and loves playing or watching any sport under the sun.
Hudson is about to enter his 3rd year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Economics and Business Law at UWA and plans to further his studies in the fields of Economic Policy or Corporate Law. Apart from his studies, Hudson works for Elevate Education, presenting study skills seminars around Western Australia, whilst also playing footy with the Wembley Amateur Football Club.
Hamish graduated from Hale in 2013 as School Captain. He went on to study an undergraduate degree in science and currently studying the Doctor of Medicine (MD) at UWA. He’s had the fortune of meeting a neurosurgeon that was a former old boy through the Hale network and keeps regular contact with his mentor.
Outside study, Hamish gets involved with sport, particular hockey; among other co-curricular interests.
Preston graduated from Hale in 2011 and studied Commerce (marketing and accounting) at UWA. He currently works for the National Australia Bank, as an analyst within the bank’s agribusiness division. While studying, he worked as a presenter for Elevate Education facilitating workshops for students, teachers and parents on effective study skills. During this time he also worked as a supervisor in the Hale School Boarding House. Preston loves travel as well as spending time on his family’s farm north of Geraldton. He also enjoys drinking coffee - which yes, according to google counts as a hobby.
After immigrating to Australia in 2006, Kevin attended Hale from Year 8 and graduated in 2010. Shortly after graduating from UWA, he joined PwC's Deals team, where he’s currently completing his CA and CFA qualifications. Kevin enjoys catching up with old school friends in his spare time, and never turns down a trip to the beach or the ski slopes.
Emerson went straight from school into a Law/Commerce double degree at UWA. He stayed involved at Hale during university, working part time in the Senior Boarding House and coaching the 9A and 2nd XVIII footy sides. After an extended period of travel, Emerson commenced full time work at an international law firm in Perth and is part of a Corporate/Mergers and Aquisitions team. Away from work he likes to keep fit – and is currently training for the New York Marathon.
