         COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

To find a new way to store trophies and shields, the Archives team put a call out to Old Haleians and any members of their family
to make calico bags. These are ideal for protecting trophies and shields from dust and dents and will be used to store items
individually. In generous response, Betty Readhead, wife of Old Haleian John Readhead (1954-62), and Ruth Gee, daughter of Old
Haleian Dr Alan Terry (1919-23) and mother of Old Haleian Nicholas Gee (1982-87), have volunteered their sewing skills.
