In 2025, Hale School’s Student Geography Society undertook a project to create a series of archival story maps highlighting selected Old Haleians who served in the First and Second World Wars. These interactive digital maps bring each individual’s life and military service to life, supported by digitised materials from the Heritage Centre’s archival collection.
This project was developed by students Ezekiel Tran, Aidan Kwa, Patrick Bradley, Ando Salama, Ayan Mishra, Hayes Duncan, and Rob Davison.
The first story maps explore the military careers of Corporal Keith Pescod, Brigadier George Maitland, and Captain Gwynne Harris.
