Interactive digital touchscreens that bring Hale School’s rich history to life have been added to the School's main administration and Junior School foyer.

Visitors to Hale School’s main Administration and Junior School foyers will notice an exciting new addition – interactive digital touchscreens that bring the School’s rich history to life. These displays showcase a wide range of heritage material, offering students, staff and the wider community an engaging way to explore Hale School’s story.

From past Headmasters and a snapshot of Hale School’s origins to the legacy of Bishop Hale, the displays highlight key aspects of the School’s heritage. Users are able to explore information about the Houses, including crests and Heads of House, browse lists of past students, and delve into Hale’s proud sporting history.

A standout feature is the inclusion of Story Maps developed by current students from the Hale Geographic Society, which chart the lives of three notable Old Haleians who served during the world wars, providing a powerful and personal connection to the past.

These touchscreens also represent an important step in the ongoing development of Hale School’s digital archives. As the School continues to prioritise digitisation, initiatives like this ensure that valuable historical records are preserved, accessible, and relevant for future generations.

Everyone in the Hale community is encouraged to take a moment to explore these screens and discover the stories that have helped shape the School’s legacy.
