  • Introduction to longevity and the concepts of healthspan and lifespan. 
  • Introduction and discussion of key modifiable risk factors and the concept of compounding risk/benefit over a long time horizon.
  • Nutrition essentials for longevity. 
  • Exercise and training prescription for long-term health. 
  • Essential baseline assessment and testing. 
  • Optimising sleep and stress management. 
  • Clear summary and personal action plan checklist.

  When the workshops are conducted:

  •  Conducted twice a year and held on campus at Hale School.
  •  Each workshop runs for approximately 2 hours and is ideal for anyone approaching mid-life or later years wanting to focus on improving their long-term health.

ABOUT OUR PRESENTER


Dr Casey Whife graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2012. He has completed specialty training with the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians, emerging as the top candidate in his cohort and earning the prestigious College Medal in 2021.

He also holds a Master of Philosophy from UWA, with an ongoing research interest in how musculoskeletal injury affects central nervous system plasticity. Casey serves as the Head of Health for an AFL team and has worked as the Team Doctor for several elite sporting organisations.
