PSA GOLF

DAY

The warm and windy weather was a little challenging
for players at the 62nd Annual PSA Old Boys’ Golf
Day held at Cottesloe Golf Course in October.
However, this certainly did not detract from the great
atmosphere and friendly competitiveness shown
between schools. Hale had a strong contingent with
28 golfers participating on the day and came in a
close second overall to Scotch College.

This annual tradition involving the seven PSA
schools – Scotch College, Hale School, Christ
Church Grammar School, Guildford Grammar School,
Aquinas College, Trinity College and Wesley College –
continues to go from strength to strength each year.
A look back through the records shows Hale has won
the shield 15 times since the event commenced in
1959, exceeded only by Scotch who have stood on
the podium 23 times.
